اختصارات ابزار دقیق (Instrumentation Abbreviations)

این مقاله واژگان کوتاه، اختصارات، تعاریف، نمادها، نام‌گذاری‌ها و سرواژه‌هایی را که به‌طور رایج در سیستم‌های کنترل و اندازه‌گیری صنعتی که در نمودار P&ID استفاده می‌شوند، توضیح می‌دهد.

معمولاً اختصارات ابزار دقیق از دو بخش تشکیل می‌شوند. حرف اول نشان‌دهنده فرایند است. حرف دوم یا دو حرف بعدی نشان‌دهنده عملکرد (Function) می‌باشند. گاهی اوقات از یک حرف سوم نیز برای نشان دادن متغیرهای اندازه‌گیری‌شده اضافی استفاده می‌شود. این حروف، فرایند ابزار دقیق را مشخص می‌کنند و در داخل یک حباب ابزار دقیق (Instrument Bubble) که از دو بخش تشکیل شده است، نمایش داده می‌شوند. نیمه بالایی حباب نشان‌دهنده فرایند بوده و نیمه پایینی شماره تگ (Tag Number) را نشان می‌دهد.
